At the heart of the identity is the singing olive. A minimalist mark that works beautifully on its own. It feels equally natural embroidered on a staff apron, as an app icon, or as a social media avatar.

Wordmark
The custom wordmark CANTARE is built on a refined serif typeface. We softened the terminals and added graceful, flowing details that subtly echo musical elegance. The balanced letterforms perfectly reflect the authentic, melodic spirit of the restaurant live evenings.

Full logo
The singing olive placed gracefully above the wordmark. We made a conscious decision not to create any side by side horizontal version. When the wordmark sits directly next to the olive it crowds the mark. The olive needs space and freedom to "sing". That is why the identity works in three pure ways: the stacked full logo, the Brandmark used alone, or the Wordmark used alone.

We chose these colors because they evoke the Italian countryside at golden hour, softened and slightly muted. It is the moment when the sun sets and its last rays disappear behind rocky cliffs, sandy landscapes, and olive groves.
While the restaurant fills with life in the evening and long into the night, we chose these calm tones to create a quiet sense of anticipation. It is the peaceful pause before the music and laughter truly begin.

The 3D sign features a soft halo reverse lit effect. Matte black metal letters sit with a gentle offset from the historic stone wall, bathing the wordmark in a warm, indirect glow. The solution respects the building’s heritage and maintains an elegant presence.
